American Quarter Horse Foundation Youth Scholarships

(Four Year College, Two Year College, University, Vocational/Occupational/Scholarship)

Purpose: $8,000 scholarships to AQHYA members who have belonged for three or more years. The recipient will receive $2,000 per year for four years. Minimum 2.5 GPA required.
Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.

Purpose: $25,000 scholarship to a current Member of AQHYA or AQHA from a farming or ranching family who exemplifies the qualities developed through a lifetime involvement with horses and agriculture. The recipient will receive $6,250 per year for a four-year degree plan if recipient maintains a 3.5 GPA.
Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens. Award available to employees or relatives of employees within the following industries: farming.

Purpose: $12,500 scholarship to current AQHYA or AQHA Members from farm or ranch backgrounds. The recipients will receive $3,125 per year for a four-year degree plan if the recipient maintains a 3.0 GPA.
Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens. Award available to employees or relatives of employees within the following industries: farming.

Qualif.: Applicant must be: full-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens. Award available to employees or relatives of employees within the following industries: designated career field.
