Cap Lathrop Scholarship Program

(Four Year College, Two Year College, University/Scholarship)

Purpose: Applicants should plan to work in the broadcast/telecommunications industry in Alaska upon completion of the academic degree. One-time award to full-time student. Career Upgrade Grants

Purpose:
Applicant must be accepted or enrolled part time in a course of study that directly contributes toward potential employment or employment upgrade. May reapply each quarter until grant cap is reached. Must be Alaska Native Student only, CIRI original enrollee or descendant. Minimum 2.5 GPA required. Application deadlines are March 31, June 30, September 30, December 1.
Qualif.: Applicant must be: part-time student. High school students not considered. Award available to U.S. citizens.

For special employment-related non-credit workshops or seminars. Must be Alaska Native Student, CIRI original enrollee, or descendant at least 18 years of age. Application deadlines are March 31, June 30, September 30, and December 1.
Qualif.: Applicant must be: age 18 or older. High school students not considered.

Merit scholarships for exceptional academic and community service experience, offered as encouragement to students to attend outstanding colleges and universities in the United States. Must be Alaska Native Student original enrollees/descendants of Cook Inlet Region, Inc. Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.7 or better. Preference given to study in fields of business, education, math, sciences, health services, and engineering.
